Our members

In 2021, a total of 6 mens teams will participate in the league, with the first and second team starting their league matches on Saturday and later on in the season on Sunday, a ZOMI (Sunday afternoon) team on Sunday and 3 men's teams on Saturday afternoon:

ZAMI and Veterans play in the ZAMI (Saturday afternoon) competition. In addition, there is also a Wednesday evening 'Halfway Trophy' cricket team and we will start this season with the Red and White Premier League on Friday evening for our own members.

Ladies cricket in the Netherlands originated at Rood en Wit in 1932. The ladies team plays on Saturdays. We have a growing youth section. The various youth teams play on Sundays early in the season and later in the season on Saturdays.  The youth "Spriettoernooi", named after Bert Spriet, the symbol of our club, used to enjoy great national fame and attracted some 25 teams from all over the country. Our aim is to revive this tournament. During the summer months the Rood en Wit members play their league matches during the weekends, while on weekdays training takes place in afternoon and evening sessions. In the winter, indoor training in Haarlem starts in December. From the beginning of April, Rood en Wit training sessions take place in the nets where three pitches are available. Rood en Wit’s members and loyal supporters all enjoy the friendly atmosphere and ambiance along the boundary, moving this season to a new clubhouse shared with Houtsche Rugby Club that we hope to complete building in May.
