Cricketclub HCC Rood & Wit is advertising the position of Head Coach for the 2025 season.
Rood en Wit has a long and great history of producing top quality cricket players. Over the past few years, the club has seen a resurgence in its first team and ladies team. The club is looking to capitalize on this success and build for a strong, sustainable and successful future. The club plays competitive cricket in both the Topklasse and Hoofdklasse, and currently has players representing national Cricket teams.
Cricketclub Rood & Wit is a traditional cricket club in the city of Haarlem, the Netherlands. Established in 1881 and with two cricket grounds, the clubs has some 250 members.
The Men's 1st team plays both KNCB Hoofdklasse and Twenty20 in KNCB Topklasse. Topklasse is the highest league in cricket in the Netherlands.
The Men's 2nd team plays KNCB Overgangsklasse.
The Ladies 1st team plays both KNCB Topklasse and Twenty20 in KNCB Topklasse.
The club also has 7 youth teams in each age group, starting at U7 up to U17.
Requirements
- Level 3 cricket coach
- First class playing experience
- First class coaching experience
- 10 years player/coach experience in the Netherlands.
- 10 years player/coach experience abroad
- coaching ladies at provincial level
- fluent in English
Location and hours of work
The club and grounds are in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
Working hours will be from 3/4pm to 8/9pm Mondays - Fridays and in the weekends from 10am to 6pm or 8am to 4pm depending on start time of the 1st team match.
Employment conditions
We can offer a contract for a fixed period of time being the term of the cricket season, starting mid April and ending mid September 2025. Depending on age and experience we can offer a good remuneration.
The club will arrange a place to stay should the candidate not live within reasonable travel distance of the club, or will pay for travel cost should the candidate live in the Netherlands.
